Well Aum, as promised I said I would research your blue-haired family tree. I found a few long lost relatives. LOLI even found your long lost, pet cat :-)And of course, there is always one relative that likes to shock the family by dying their hair blonde, or having a funny haircut LOL
Yesterday, I was sitting outside a cafe in a t-shirt.Today I woke up to snow, so I went to the park and took some pictures. It is still snowing as I type this. Aom, at least you could have a picnic in the park LOL.
Ah well! its just after 9 am here in the UK, so it must be 3 pm in Thailand.I suppose the picnic is just starting in Lumpini Park, and I am stuck here working.Have a good time everyone. I am awaiting some good pictures.Though I doubt that those of you who go clubbing afterwards will be posting anything until Monday
Last year, I used to admire this place whilst waiting for the train at Rajdamri BTS station. I didn't know what it was. Still don't know much about it. Is it a very exclusive sports club?I can see the golf course, but is that a horse racing track on the outside?I took this picture from the restaurant in my hotel, at Chidlom.
Looks like this rain has set in for the day. I don't think that I will be getting my Som Tum after all. Not a beach seller in sight.Have sent all my e-mails and post cards, so looks like its back to the room to watch a DVD or read a book. Not very good weather to go for a ride on the motorbike:-(Yawn!!I'm bored...
Ah well! Its been raining for the last five days here in Samui. Am just sitting here, having breakfast, watching the rain fall. Oh no! Now a power cut :-(Grey skies, and windy. Was going to go to Koh Tao to go diving, but the sea is a bit choppy.Still. At least I am not working, tonight Norman Jay is DJing at the Escape club, and the hotel gardens are looking beautiful and green so things are still good.I might even have to drag myself to the beach later to get some Som Tum :-)
Well, I am now in LP. It was lovely and hot when I arrived yesterday, but today is cold AND I have no warm clothes with me, so a bit uncomfortable.
The town is very pretty and some of the grandeur is slowly being brought back to life. Buildings are being restored to UNESCO standards, and lots of small hotels and guesthouses are opening up.
I stayed in an old wooden thai style house last night. Comfortable, but dark. Have now moved into a small hotel. I visited the temples today and took lots o
So this Friday, the jackpot in the EuroMillions Lottery here in the UK is 95 million pounds. It has to be won, it cannot be rolled over. I have bought my tickets, but I think that it is far too much for one person to win. That doesn't mean I want everyone asking me for a share if do I win :-)I have worked out that at 63 baht to one UK pound that is 5,985,000,000 baht.Wish me luck, and if I do win, the drinks are on me.I will be in BKK when they announce the draw, but maybe not for long... 555
