It happened to me before Songkran festival but i think i should share the story and i might get some comments from u guys here

At that time my colleage, who is a farang (work as an Eng instructor) and I had to join the funeral ceremony so i came to pick him up at his apartment it was too early to go there so we decided to find something to do to kill the time... he asked me to play draught which i hate to play ... i asked him to play the brainless games but he denied...

Well, we played for a while and i almost lose.. i said "i hate this games, and i hate u" then he cried "pls don't hate me, i'm a nice guy"

i laugh but my eyes still keep looking at the game... I said "NICE GUY CAN'T GET A GIRL" (I got that word from Thomaswd, while we were having lunch somewhere)

Believe it or not, he suddenly stopped playing draught and stared at me.. quite shock... then sighed deeply said.. "Ouch! it hurts but true, nice guy can't get a girl cuz girls like to have something to complain, sad and cry... " and he started talk about the guy that he knew in Sweden...he never play around, fool around his GF.. after he graduted he got married and has a perfect life....so on...

Actually, we "girls" (may be the most of us) like to have the guys like that, who is not dream about a perfect life?

i think from his experience he met some bad girls, liars (i never asked cuz it's none of my business) same as me.... i only met the bad guys and liars. Makes me feel "alright, nice girl can't get a guy as well, so why i still be a nice girl" haha...

Many guys say i'm a nice girl (which i really hate to be)... so what? These day.. i wanna be naughty, sassy, *****... feel much better... haha

However, believe me ... nice guys still needed ... every girls like the nice guys, right?

Just thinking about the perfect formula

Nice guy + nice girl, Bad guy + Bad girl

or

Nice guy + bad girl, Nice girl + bad guy

i believe heheheheh ehehehhheheheheh

yup! nice guy can't get a gal coz gal prefer bad guys as nice guys are too boring

This comes up time to time in different articles in papers and (women)magazines, be they just questionare results, more "scientific" articles,discussion boards or whatnot...but the result/conclusion seems to always be:

"Women (a big generalisation here! :-O) want the nice guy at home to take care of the kids and the bad guy to **** around with and cheat."

Some( try to) explain this with evolutionary reasons: nice guy is needed to make sure the children survive, bad men are needed to give the best "seeds"...or something like that.

Just giving input from what I have read.

My own opinion? Well, what can I say. Nice guy can always try to act like bad guy and vice versa...Heck, cannot please everyone, you are who you are, that's it. Life changes you and life changes around you. And yeah, there is still place in this world also for nice girls and boys. Hey, there is 6 billion of us here.

Uh, also bad girls and nice girls want the nice guy (sometimes) so they can atleast cry and complain about all the bad guys! (Sh*t, that is so twisted :-/)

ghee: tuff luck :-P First, think how could you be even more bastard and obnoxious? Do you have tattoos and piercings? If not, get some! Do you drink too much? Good! Keep it up! And remember to get angry and even slap some people around when you are drunk (or not), that makes some girls to wet their pants too. Oh, and rob a convenient store too! See, being JUST a bastard won't get you a hot girl, you have to go the extra mile! :-D

And make sure you look like your basic small time criminal and make sure you are not (too much) overweight too. For some reason nice girls like bad guys who they think they can turn into nice looking bad guy (or even TAME to be a nice,for Gods sake, which is stupid! Why they don't save the extra trouble and go straight for the nice guy in the first place!?! :-).

Nong 1, what is nice guy you defined ? Is he a guy who go to temple practise regularly, help everyone once asked, speak only polite words..etc..etc.. ? ? If so, no i dont want one. I prefer normal guy who has good parts and bad parts in oneself, as long as he does not cause me or anybody troubles

It seems the thing for most girls is the danger and uncertainty that comes with a 'bad boy'...I asked this very question to my 'bad girl' friends.So what hapens when they get the badass? They wanna turn him into the nice guy so he doesnt fool around on them..funny..but then they get bored cuz he has then changed back into the nice guy.

Thats what I love about Asia..for the most part....if your a good guy and somewhat attractive you can do very well here..dare if I say it...you can play the field as 'The nice guy'..viva la Thailand!..;p

Nice is good but Slurms is right sometimes could be boring and some women loose their interest. So try not to be so nice nice, try to be be nice with a spice ;-)

So just to clarify here, would someone, preferable a female or two, what they consider to be a Good/Bad guy. I ask because I think most of us guys fall in the middle range but get a bad rap anyway.
