umm...I think this is the female equivalent of an overseas farang guy's "my thai girlfriend's buffalo is sick" journal.

A girl one of my friends was seeing keeps emailing me to see how he is (he doesnt use email) now he is back in the UK. He spent a year in Thailand back in 05/06.

What I haven't told her is that he is in prison for the next 7 years for importing drugs into the island where I live.

If he has really had a heart attack then that is too bad at such a young age but like Loburt i'm not convinced this is the case and even if it is people can recover from them pretty quickly.

Shortyg there may be a reason that you aren't aware of why people here aren't sympathetic to her. If people want to complain each other, you're best to leave them to it because chances are you don't know the whole story. Such is the thai-bkk-tf experience.

Heart attacks are really more likely to happen to older people, but to youngsters too. He could really have had a heart attack or not. You should know better if he is the kind of guy that would pull out such a lie or not. Just replying to emails it's easy for everybody.

Why would you pull such a lie when a simple "Compose" and "Send message" is so simple? Hope you'll get the truth soon, DrowsySkinny(can't write the rest of the nickname as I'm a polite chap:D)

he always coughs! smoke everyday and he smoke harder than me! i usually smoke 2 packs but he smoke 3 or 4 a day

My friend's father died at 40, and his father's father at 38. Both died from heart attacks despite being fit, going to the gym / exercising regularly. Heart problems can be genetic... even young young people can have them. Scary :S

I smoke 2 or sometimes 3 packs/day too, I'm 25 and my last visit to the doctor, the guy told me to take it easy as I am already liable for a heart disease. Combine this with some drugs that are more available in UK than Thailand and here you go, it's as simple as that. It might be true, but I hope for your sake that it's just a lie, I bet you'd rather have yourselfs separated than him with a stroke.

It sounds like horse **** to me. I think in some very, very rare cases people as young as him have heart attacks. And that's not through excessive living, it's because it's maybe genteic and they've had bad hearts from day 1. If this is the case then he definitely wouldn't be smoking 3 or 4 packs a day.

I think you've lied about how many he really smokes because you don't like people questioning his integrity. I think he was here for a short while and you did what people do when they have these whirlwind romances.

I think you should just forget about him and find a guy who actually lives here. My advice to any lady is, don't try to start a relatioship with any foreigner on Khoa San.

Peter and Alicks have been in thailand so many times and thy both speak very good thai...
