Actually, i intended to not posted anything about the politics here.. but something happened today, so i think i should write about it.

I know, ppl here might have the others comments.. don't worry i respect every comment here.

I went to join the protest today with my classmate. we parked the car at Siam Paragon.. and waited for the other protesters in front of Siam center

the Siam Center was closed. actually, i wanted to buy the AA battaries.. for my camera at Boots but i couldn't get in. So i knew we were not welcome there. but never mind then..

There'r some pics that i wanna show u...

a lot of PPL there and i'm so surprised, i c the farang join the protest. and i don't think they were the reporter.

Now the climax...

yeah we were in front of BIG C super center. the leaders said.. we will stop right here, go home, we'd meet again at Makkawaan bridge..

So i and my classmate decided to go inside BIG C to eat something... but we disappointed... i was a customer there for many years.. right now.. it was finished... they were very rude.

Group of women, kids, my classmate and i wanted to go in there.. the security said we were not allow..

What does it mean? U let ppl go inside.. but didn't let us cus we in Taksin protest? Damn it .. That was so rude. if they hang "Sorry we are CLOSED" in front of the department store, i don't mind... but they did it...What's wrong with the protesters... i think we have a right to protest. we haven't hurt anybody.. or destroy things. many ppl are educated.

we came in peace..we believe in NON-VIOLENCE .. but .. ok fcuk it.. no more BIG C....i'm not only one customer they will lose... i believe.

So ppl, i will end my journal here with these photos... enjoy.

Thai_muslimgirl, next time tell me na ja.. we might meet there.

Phenix.. everyone knows GOVERMENT and CORRUPTION come together like a package. but what he did and i can't stand, he tried to sell our country.. and i think somebody here such as Coolwater's journal and Breakingofdown's journal told about it already.. it's alright if u just don't care about corruption..It's not wrong but u will see in the future.. when u have to spend more money for Electricity, water, gasoline.. and we will have nothing left..now i think it's happening...

atleast i feel so good that i'm not the one who elected him..

Not many foreigners. Those two in the crowd looked like tourists.

The photographers on the bridge: the guy on the left, the foreigner with gray hair, is a news photographer, and he's a very famous news photographer. One of the best in the world.

Agree with babyoiy, I think they ( the malls ) were afraid that some of protesters would go protest & said about politic in the mall and that would bother other customers . Just safety first

>> hmm so pity that my hands shaked ...it's not easy to take the pics with S5000 ..hrrrrrr... beside i'm a short girl...

Babyoiy and literature, i guess so.. but as i told u.. if they closed the store like siam center did i don't mind.. but what they've done i think it was very rude. i think i have a right to get in there.. i go to buy something not steal..

Well, this evening i watched Nation Channel, the news was about some protesters after the protest. Those ppl wanted to get taxi home.. but some drivers were rude.. they yelled at the protesters, said "Go away" hrrrr..

They might wait til we kill each others

Speaking of taxi drivers, there was a great letter in the Bangkok Post today. It went something like this.

"I got into a taxi yesterday and immediately was being verbally assaulted by the driver about how great Thaksin is. So I told him:

'Yes, I think he's great too. In the past five years he hasn't allowed taxi fares to increase by even one baht.'

He shut up for the rest of the ride."

lol. try that one next time.

totaly wrong for farangs to be in this protest. It is an internal Thai affair and should be resolved by Thais themselves Farangs are in no position to claim they know or understand enough of what can be complex socio politcal matters - which is not to say they cant have an opinion.

Alternatively? Bring in the military and lets have ourselves a nice little coup?

Hope the protests stay peacful and that they succeed but it seems the whole campaign may be doomed to failure?
