I have a good buddy of mine who is on his first trip trip to Thailand.  It's a strange choice for him since he's someone who hates being touched.  He's famous amongst his friends for squirming when someone puts their arm around him.   Of course every trip report he's posted involves at least one lady boy coming up to him and grabbing his crotch.   He's even posted photos of the crotch grabbings.   So the question is, if you're afraid of something is it more likely to happen to you 

when you fear something, you actually end up pulling it towards you.

the more you try to push it away, the harder it pulls in your direction.

you can't run from your fears.

you have to face them head on.

If a person is afraid of some thing,it's more likely to happen as that person is waiting for it to happen and aware of his dislikes.

i was once on a Thai airways flight from UK to Thailand

When i got chatting to the guy next to me, turns out he had a wife and a gf back in uk.

and he was running away to thailand for 3 months to get away from his women problems.

I had to inform him he was going to the wrong country

for sure when he arrives he will have another gf

Thailand is full of beautiful charming irresistible women, not the place to go to avoid women

Thanks for the feedback. Personally, I have a fear of heights but I've been skydiving. I face my fears head-on. My buddy though, he's had more ladyboy encounters in one 2 week trip than I've had in all my trips. Maybe they just stick out in his head more than they do for other people. Either way, they make for good (and entertaining) reading :-)
