more from the transatlantic sessions, currently getting a 'best of' showing on the Beeb. There is a rich exchange of ideas between Celtic music and American music such as folk and bluegrass, there is even a part Gaelic foundation to the origins of Gospel Music. First up the late great John Martyn with Big Muff.(great title)

 

Then Dan Tyminski and friends with Man of Constant Sorrow (this is who sang George Clooney's part in O brother Where Art Thou)  

and lastly the haunting McCrimmons Lament by the late Martyn Bennett
