A pure gentleman, He's primarily the reason why I joined TF and came to Thailand. The man open my eyes to how wonderful the country is and the people. He was the 1st man to join my TF party, and to call me welcoming me to Thailand. we talked as if we known each other for a long time. For that  I will never forget. So here's to you Mike. you are a good well rounded man. You'll always be in my heart. YOU LIVE ON!!!

I just wrote this in Stu_Thailands journal...but wil copy it anyway....Self explanatory really...but...it FUCKS MY DAY UP I have to say...nice words Derwin...

I've never met Mike, but spoke to him on the phone when "Brezzing" through BKK...I text him from the UK a few days ago, but didn't get a response...I offered some medical opinion from the "west", to which he declined, as he has done prior to that...I wonder in his brave departure that he knew things that we didn't...and wanted to be in the land that he loved and not seek or pursue and possible Western solution; should it have been available...Sorry I did'nt get to meet you Mike...

He would want you to have a big weekend though, so get in there!!!!

Cheers

Mark

Yes...I didn't speak much with him last time, on the birthday event - he was obviously in pain and very weak. But I remember all my other talks with him - we could talk for hours, especially about the ladies...and yes, he still counted on meeting someone special...his observations were funny and interesting, and he yet he still spoke about every person as a true gentleman. I'll miss you Mike, Rest In Peace and may you find the special one where you are now...

I met Mike on 2, maybe 3, occasions in the last 2 years, in company of a group of TFers each time.

Despite my limited contact with Mike, I felt he genuinely loved and was kind with people, as one would expect from a caring teacher.

He will be missed by many, thanks to his jai dee.

R.I.P. Mike
