I have a huge collection of vinyl - currently around 6,000, spanning all ages and genres. After Puriku's journal reminded me of the lovely original Minnie Ripperton track, I decided to make my journal a journey through some of my favourite records (if they are also on Youtube lol) I will post everything from soul to dub, from techno to electronica.

In the flavour of yesterday however, I want to go back, way back. A lot of you will remember Fat Boy Slim's 'Praise You'. Well, here is the track that praise You was based on, the wonderful Camille Yarborough. Unfortunately there is no video so just shut your eyes and listen to this lady's voice!!
