Thai police have arrested a hospital security guard who allegedly killed at least seven fellow security guards and seriously injured another 10 for sleeping on the job. Wittaya Jaikhan, 30, was arrested yesterday, ending a five-month-long police manhunt for the serial killer of security guards in Bangkok and neighbouring provinces. Wittaya, who has confessed to the killing spree, attributed his rampage to professional outrage. "I hate guards who fall asleep on the job and don't perform their duty," he told Thai Rath newspaper. But the murders were not entirely motivated by piqued professional pride. Wittaya, a security guard at Samitivej Sirnakarintara Hospital, also confessed to stealing his victims' "candies, chocolates and mobile phones", after bashing them over the head for nodding off on the job.Serial killer of sleepy security guards nabbed

there are some nutters in this world...sadly his victims families have to live without loved ones, fathers, brothers, sons - he needs to be removed from the gene pool...kill somone for their chocolates and mobile? What a low-life scumbag.

I was just speechless when I saw this news... He must be sent to a psychologist. I'm wondering what really drive him to do this but no one know that and I don't think we can really find the right answer. It's sad.... what's going on in this world?!?! I got to see when police interviewing him why he did that, the way he talk doesn't sound normal but he's under pressure as he's with the police and I don't know what happened after he got arrested untill we got to see him later in telly.

Anyway about security guys, when I stayed up late at my office I never feel safe when they were around.. Before they had to walk around on every floor every few hours and I always felt uncomfortable when I saw them.. plus it happened to be that there were some stuff stolen, I lost 1 blackberry and some money I kept in my cabinet which was locked. Nowadays, it doesnt happened anymore since we changed new security company and didnt let them walk around. Damn! I supposed to feel safe when security guys are around, no? My motto! do not rely on other but yourself and be careful with every step you doing...

In my office the cleaning lady refuses to clean your desk if there is money on it. I've left change sitting on my desk and the next day I come back and nothing is cleaned. She refuses until I remove the money :-)

My boss said, don't leave any money or stuff anywhere... well she meant dont give them any chance first then u wont have to face any problem later.. She said even her maid is with her for over 20 years she has never left any baht around so never have any stuff stolen.. She's quite right tho'.

I read this news from Bangkok's Independent Newspaper this morning........the first thing in my mind is .....he's a psycho. I guess nowdays, life is not so precious like last time :-(

Just goes to show that there are nut cases all over this world. Hope that justice for this idiot will be swift.
