I thought about post the pics that I took from the new southern bus terminal but I forgot about it, so sorry.... I think many people here have been there before... but for me it was the first time.Last year, I wanted to go to Phuket by bus but after the I have seen the old southern bus terminal I just changed my mind to go by Air Asia.For this trip I've heard that they just finished a new one. Besides, I couldn't find low cost air ticket to go to Samui. I can book only my return flight. So we made up our mind to go by bus.After I got in there, I wasn't a luxury place but I was bright and clean if I compare with the old one (dark, dirty.. yuck!!!)I took a look around.... I think it looks familiar.... Iook like CARRFOUR jing jing na.... I mean the whole interior design... It does look like Carrfour... the elevators... bathroom... the sign."

Is this the Ekkamai bus station? I ask because on Monday I am catching a bus at the Ekkamai bus station and heading to Cambodia.

Ekkamai is eastern station. This one is Sai Tai mai southern station. Looks a lot better than the old one I remember all the shitty bus rides to hua hin.

Nothing new there then. Yes, Farang can spend the money, but no, we won't help them by putting a sign in English up.

The old bus terminal wasn't very nice!!!

the good thing is it's on the edge of the city, so hopefully less traffic jams around that area with the buses.

nice you have diecribed the new busstation, but for a farang please explain exactly where to find this new bus station and what busses are leaving there.
