bon jour space!

this is my last night in ireland and i determine not to sleep. i have to leave letterkenny at 5 o'clock to catch the plane at belfast city airport at 8.45 am, and so on and so on...all souvinirs for profs and friends will be purchased in london-heathrow airport coz i didn't have much chances and time for shopping. i should have gone to london derry yesterday but i was too lazy so i decided to sleep in instead ;P

my sister has got the bill for the internet connection, it's almost ? 500, oh lord... that's crazy!...that amont of money could pay off my internet connection bills for 3 years. not to mention that the connection is very slow here, partially because it's a dial-up. in canada, i pay $cnd 25.00 per month plus tax, and i've got a DSL! (25 is a student price).

anyhow, i see this matter as a way to keep ireland from being a part of the global village. somehow it is becoming but not too fast which is cool because good thing comes for those who wait. further than that, i think it's good that the youth dont spend much time sitting in front of the monitor. there are so much to see out there...as i've seen today...

my sister took me on a road trip this morning, we drove to the mountain, ports and beaches. it was raining and i sat in the car quietly. it's very very beautiful and very peaceful. one thing that amazed me was that, the irishs have cut down lots and lots of trees...i love rain and i love being on a road when it's raining. forgive me if you happen to give me a ride someday and i say or do nothing besides looking outside, that's me...it's always be my best moment to let my imagination flies.

on our way, i saw one small small small island...very very small...like it could fit only one house on to occupy its space. the island was covered with green grass...in the middle, there were tall trees line up right in the middle from left to right. no leaves on any twigs. the trees were tall and skinny...the skinny long trunks stood up straight, all the branches were on the top parts. there were probably 8-10 of them on the island. what i've found striking was the reflection of these trees on the water. it made me realized what i've just heard my favorite doctor said to me the other day that this region gives him senses of life while driving.

i think i'm coming back to ireland again, if not for good then for a visit...maybe in the summer time...now my bag is packed and i miss my cat : ) meow meow~

see you guys again when i'm in canada,

ciao!
