Yeah!! I got a plan to go outside BKK in Dec., 5-7. I will go up to the north again... Chiangmai is in my plan. My travel mate and I will go to Doi Phahompok, Chaingmai. The package tour cost 3700 baht. Included the van from BKK to Chiangmai & 4W drive car to Doi Phahompok, and lunch. I think it's reasonable price. The travel program start at 8.00 pm take van from BKK and arrive Phang, CM, have breakfast, warm baht at Phahompok then go to Doi Angkhang by 4W truck. visit a village.. and come back to see sunset at Khobdong. Sleep in tent in the first night. (sounds good?)Next day, see sunrise and mist. after that we will have breakfast at a local coffee shop, visit farmers and farm around there. and in the late afternoon... take a 4W drive truck to Kaewlom camp to see sunset and sleep at the camp. They said if we have luck we could see falling star.Last day, see sunrise at Doi phahompok's peak. then go down the mountain to Chaingmai, shopping at Warorot market.Actually, I wanna go to visit my friend and my uncle there, but I don't think I will have time if I take package tour. May be spend a night in Chiangmai, stay in a hotel or my friend's house, may be at my uncle's house. Last year he quite angry that I went there and I didn't give him a call. Kraeng jai. Does anyone interested in this trip. Actually, I posted it on TF event, but I just deleted it.
