Today is so awesome. After I got to my office about 15 mins, I got a phone call from my sup., she told me to go downstair to take care of a photographer from Swizerland. She thought it was a great opportunity to learn photography from him. To be honest, I think it wasn't part of my job. It should be PR stuff. Anyway, mai pen rai. I used to be PR, long time ago, so I could handle it.I met him at 11th floor of the new building, He was very "jai dee" German guy. He works in Swizerland with AO Association (it's about orthopidics). His camera was so great! Nikon D3 quite heavy... it was heavier than D80 5 kg. I guess.He said it was a very nice hospital, look like a nice hotel. I took him to see Autometic tube, and a robot. His photos were better than mine alot... may be about camera and lens and photographer. He teach me a lot about technic, angle and composition. Plus after I told him I was studying German he tried to teach me some German, so cool.He took photos of my team at the roof top of the building, they were so nice, especially, my photo with my e-mail address... I really like it... hrrr don't know when can I get that hehe.

Oh yeah, the D3 is heavy, but a very nice camera.

Together with the right lens it is awesome.

And you have to carry around 2kg or more.

Just the camera and the lens.

I really like D30 very very camera and price is so high, I can't afford it.

I compare with D80, D3 it's a lot better. Ask my sup. to order it may be next year.

wow, just looked at the specs of the Nikon D3...that is some seriously sweet (and expensive) Digital SLR !

*12.1 megapixels ! ! ! ISO 200 to 6400 with an additional two stop boost over that (up to ISO 25600) ! ! ! Can shoot at nine frames per second with AF tracking or eleven frames per second without ! ! !

My camera has 8 megapix so that is 1/3 less detail ! ! Hey Chatty, you take some awesome pics yourself so really the pics from the D3 with 12mp will be better than cams with 10 MP or 8 MP such as mine. You have a natural eye for composition and angle (-;

looking forward to see your photos na kha. D3 is one nice choice for professional DSLR. of course it's really cost money (but worth it) and heavy because of come with battery compartment.

i owned 5D / EOS 1Ds Mark III Canon, with my fevorit street lense for the moment is 16-35mm . it's made a good pair.
