visiting thailand, i feelled that thai give a lot of importance to social level as they take care a lot their public immage, i don t know if it s only my mind or really it s in this way.

one of the most unforgettable moment in my 3 trips, it was near chang mai.

i met a hold farmer, probably 80 years old, i stay in the way, he invited me in his farmer, nobody tolk english but his family respected him very much and accepted me for dinner, we tolk only with hands, not with mouth....he showed me his phi of home , the photo of KING and immage of BHUDDA, he was the most friendly and wise person that i met in the travel.......as i m turist farang and they were big family with some problems, i tried to give money, i only understand his words "phom pen thai" and he rejected.

someone can call this farmer "low class"?

me, absolutely i cannot.....he had teach me the true soul of thailand, not a simple farmer but a great man!!!!!

about the topic, dear jan.........i think you are always yourself in this activities, it s possible go at the opera with diamants rings and the day after help and gift a smile a poor child without father and mother in a institute.

nothing just some body ask about hight or low and i don't like the question also!!! i have a friend hs is very smart a long time in the past he was indecent person but now he cecomes a man of high class with a excellent car a big house and be in contact with rich and big people!!!!

and somebody said about people with high class must be in contact with the same level of the people that is quite common thing to do for them what a matter for the to be in contact with the people of no classs which will make them to lose dignity !!!!!!! and i don't like when somebody said this i'm not hight but not to low but associate with the same good class

and i think some people is very common people with no class at all but they are intelligent very clever in speaking with a good character their education is good enough and afterwards became a smart popular people and receipt the big high position also

P.s goom community begins with each family have the good education good job good system of political and good social well fare to all clss of people.....................................................

Buffaloes are making a comeback in Thailand as farmers abandon their machinery due to high fuel prices. Farmers are harnessing their reluctant water buffaloes back onto ploughs and going back to the traditional way of farming.

Rice production is the main source of income for rural families in the northeast. Some farmers like 60-year-old Somporn Pagaso were prosperous enough to hire fellow farmers to plough for him, using their machinery. But due to higher fuel costs, he has gone back to using his four water buffalos on his eight-acre plot of land.

a farmer said "Working with farm machinery is quick, but we have to spend 400 baht for almost half an acre. It is better to keep the money for my nephews and use water buffalos to work.?

I know that class (hi so/low so) is very important in Thailand. I personally don't believe in that. I try to be nice to all people and having money does not change that. I hope your friend will change his attitude.
