It's been a week since I last posted my journal. I just started a new job and having to wake up super early again is seriously killing me! It was a big shock for me the past Monday, seeing how many people from Thonburi side are traveling into Bangkok by BTS. It was like a march or a demonstration up the escalator to the BTS station. Although I got on the BTS at the first station, the train was already packed with so many people. I had to wait for the second train, and be the few first ones right next to the door, in order to get a seat. Before started working, I thought BTS would be a great way to commute to work on a daily basis, but I was so wrong. The journey I took on Monday exhausted me by the time I arrived at the office building. So I talked to one of the colleague in the office, and she said I should try taking a bus instead. Surprisingly, I found buses more convenient, less tiring and even faster to get to work than the BTS!    So now I am left with the monthly BTS trips that I don't know whether I'll be able to use it up within 30 days. Anyone wanna by it off me on auction? :-PThe new office is quite small, there are enough table for the staff there but the big boss from the US came over to be based here for a month, we are short by one table. So I had to share my space with my direct boss. He's a cool guy, but still sitting right next to him isn't the best thing in the world. >_< The good part is that the people in the company are quite nice and honest, so I hope the politics here will be much less than my last company.  It's been interesting so far. I'll get to be in charge of a bigger task with less paper work than what I used to. I hope this will hopefully be better. Yet the one thing I am not sure that I enjoy very much is that the people in the company are quite laid back. I am used to working in fast paced company and I love it that way, than taking things easy and don't do much. So I guess, I'll have to learn how to set my pace in the company to the extent that I won't be a threat to other people in the team. Finding the balance can be quite difficult sometimes. One thing I like about the company is that everyone starts early and gets off early! I've always wanted to wake up early in the morning and be able to do more. I think I'll be able to keep up with the goal working here. ^_^ I was being crazy with shopping again yesterday. I went to Platinum mall and spent around 3000 baht within a few hours! I got 5 tops, 1 dress, 1 belt and 2 pair of shoes, not too bad huh? The only thing I disappointment is that the clothes don't look as nice on me as they do on the hangers!!!! I'll really really set my goal to go back to gym and lose weight!!! >_< Talking about losing weight.... I went to China Town Food Adventure event with Bcool. It's been great meeting everyone there and we had so much fun, sampling food around the area, although we don't really know what is good and what is not. It's been a long walk, and everyone was exhausted but it was fun. Some of the food were surprisingly good, and some were just ordinary, but it was a great experience. Thank you Bcool for creating this event! I am looking forward to the next eating adventure! ^_^
