Almost last 4 months ago, I did cut myself hair till it looked horrible caused me had to go to a salon to let them trim it. They had to use an electric clippers no. zero to do the work. Once I walked off from a salon I talked to myself “Oh, you nut! You really look alike some sort of a psycho woman who just walked off from mental hospital.”

During the first 2 months, I had to cover something on my head every time I go out and it became a new fashion for me; various style of hats, colorful big handkerchiefs. One day I took my mom out for shopping and I wore one kind of hat that I bought from Khaosan road, a taxi driver asked my mom was that am I a Muslim. My mom refused then asked him back why did he think so. A taxi driver answered it was because of a hat I was wearing.

I actually liked my hair short because it felt so comfortable. I don’t have to spend much time washing my hair nor set hairdo when go out and that was great. Apart from few reasons to not like having a long hair is because I get sweat easily.

I have been told, with a square shape face, thick lips, widen nose shape and a tomboy attitude then a short hair is not a good choice for me. Even though my attitude is a bit like a tomboy but I am a woman and that I still like to see myself capable of being physically beautiful. I was thinking to let my hair growth again till the length around my waist. That would probably take years….

PeterH61 : Thank you for stopping by. I know what you mean. I was not saying that having a long hair is a factor in women's beauty but what I was trying to say is that having a long hair make "myself" look more feminine. I still don't know what suits me most between short and long. As I did have a very short hair before but not a very long one so I was thinking to let my hair growth as much as I could and see the different is all.
