Pls help, I really really need some advice, I have been in this trouble so long.My lovely friend got a dinner date with a guy that she didn't like much. So she asked me to join the dinner, to be the 3rd wheel. I said ok. Actually, I knew him before, we worked together for a website project. The dinner was so boring. He didn't talk much cuz I was there I think. Then we decided to left home, thanks god / buddha. Well, he just bought a new car, so he offered to drive us home. How unlucky I was, I'm his neighbor, I tried to say hey take me home first, then you two would be together in car, but he said take my friend home first... cuz I live near him, he didn't wanna go back and force...Damn it!! didn't he know that he should take that chance....hrrrrr...Ok Whatever!! He told me to sit next to him, cuz I would be the last one to get off... and he didn't wanna look like my driver. à«ç§à»ç´  After, we dropped my friend's apartment. I had to start some conversation, we stuck in bad traffic ever, believe me I prayed that I wanna arrive home soon, you know, I felt uncomfortable.I didn't know what I should say, so better asked about someone that "we" know.Me : Hey I'm just curious about p'M. Does he has his own family?

p'C : Nope, he is a single guy. Why do you wanna know? Do you interested in him?Me : ã¹ã¨¤Ô´ "«ÇÂáÅéÇ" No no no no and no... you know what, I'm just curious. "CURIOUS" means "CURIOUS". cuz everytime I go to your office, I always see him there, no matter what weekdays, weekend, Sat, Sun, or holiday, and no matter what late at night. So he makes me feel like he has no family. That's it.p'C : Ahhh... (grin) He lives alone, no GF, but he is very good guy na... He played golf, if you like you can go with him... ohh he played badminton as well, I've heard that you like to play badminton, why don't you join him?Me : hmmm no no no I have my own badminton gang. hehehe (pretend to laugh)p'C : Hey if you wanna date him I can help na... just go out and have dinner...Me : Mai chai na... mai chai.. I just wanna know, just curious... not interested in him. jing jing.A week after that, my lovely friend told me that p'C talked to her about dubble date....  So I told her what did happened that night. My friend said she did denied it, she told p'C that I was a busy bee, had no time to go out with them. thks god...After that day, while I was waiting for my company shuttle van, I saw the p'M walking toward to me, we had eye contact, he changed his mind... turned out from me... it shocked me.Until now we are not the same.. never have any conversation since that day. It's not good to let it be, it affect our work, and I feel not good to go to his office, you know... ÃÖ´ÃÑ´ What can I do?

you should take the issue before "The Council" and wait for enlightenment

If the guy made I contact with you and then turned away, he knows about the conversations with your friends.

Since he knows, go to him and talk about it. Tell him that it was a misunderstanding, you are already dating someone and that you hope he didn't take your words as an insult.

I don't know if that is too direct for Thai culture. If it is too direct hopefully you will get better suggestions. :-)

Sorry bCool, maybe it's because it's already pretty late on my side of world, but your story is a bit confusing. I'm not sure who is interested in whom, or jealous of whom, etc. In any case, honesty seems like the best solution anytime. It is possible to be nice & truthful at the same time.

just ask him for a talk after work outsde the office and simply tell him that you dont like the vibe that is going on between you. DOnt make things complicated, just ask directly and clear things up.

anyway... I would not care much. I would still be the same. No matter what behinds that story that Pi C and Pi M might be talking but you have no intention to date him but if it bothers you much..then ask him... Nothing to be so offensive about, just go and ask..and if its 'the issue' then talk straight but if it's the other issue like actually he's in love with Pi C then you figure it out later what to do.

Its ok to sort things out as long as its between you two...eventhough there's nothing behind the bush or underneath that grave, love story in office still smells something for ppl who have nothing to do but sticking their noses into ppl's biz

i wouldn't go talk to him if i were you. Why make an awkward situation even more awkward?

I woulden't go out of your way to talk to him, if you happen to meet him then just smile, say "hi, how are you...blablabla" small talk. Don't be awkward, just be yourself.

ahh and for p'Stu... I asked my friend the same question, the answer what she wanted to give him a chance, and I tried to give him a hint... such as Do you like to go to see movie, he said " I like to see movie at home" hrrrrr.... if i was him i would asked her out.
