Bought a couple of tickets for the Bestival reunion gig in Manchester about 7 weeks ago. The gig is this Friday, and from last week have been getting quite worried that my tickets had not arrived. Phoned the ticket office and was told they would arrive up to 48 hours before gig!!!Aaaaagh - that's cutting it close I thought; then arrived back from town today to a nice envelope throgh my letterbox...with tickets!!! Hoorah. So now off for an evening of fun and frolics in Manchester!!There's only one real reason I am going; De La Soul live!!! So, to get me in that trip-hop mood, and to share some good tunage with you all, here's 2 great De La Soul numbers!!  

Last time I saw De La Soul was at the Jazz Cafe in London about 5 years ago, what a killer night, in my top 5 for sure!

Shadow's stuff gone downhill last year or 2 (IMHO) but he is still brilliant live; have a ball Chris!!

His new albums have been sketchy, but you never know, live he could pull it out of the bag. Dig DJ Spyda Monkey though, and he's playing warm up/
