Had a wee retro night tonight with some friends; watched Human Traffic and Trainspotting and dug up some old vinyl. Some had to be dusted off before playing it had been so long since they had visited my technics (and note to self to start transferring vinyl to mp3 at some point) Anyway, thought I would share 3 of the night's tunes; ones which myself (and some friends) reckon are some of the best trance tunes ever...see what you think...

Not much of a trance fan myself ...but I did dig the video on the second osng..great visuals....

Iain...don't forget Crystal Method, Blood Rave. Who can forget that "underground" vampire club scene in Blade. Now that was one kicking club, until they all started getting hungry. :-)

funky - u know how difficult it is to pick 10 tracks let alone 3; these were merely 3 that got dug out on vinyl tonight and played - was the Blade scene not Pump Panel - Confusion??? (have it on 12" - reworking of new order track?)

Had a look Iain. It sounds the exactly the same, but slightly slower. this is Crystal meth.

It is either a remix, or the same track/production under a different name. Weird.

Original Blade Confusion was New Order... then there was the Pump Panel Reconstruction mix .. post Blade it was remixed by Public Domain (Operation Blade).. and a few others
