Recently I've heard my brother cousin, Natsu talking < moaning > that his girlfriendand her friends are addicted to Butler cafe in shibuya,

they got together for"Girls day" but all they really did was going to Butler cafe once every 2 weeks.and no she doesn’t lie about where she is going or what she is doing but still it'skind of stuck on his head...   

Butler cafe (執事喫茶, shitsuji kissa) is just like a normal cafe in Japan that you can go hang out, have a lovely meals with your friends, 

but the different is he butlers in these cafes are all good looking foreigner, very well-dressed male employees and may wear either a typical waiter's uniform or even a tuxedo or tails.

The cafe offers a variety of homemade food, sweets and drinks, as well as photo shoots in which a favourite butler holds the woman in the air — and English lessons.

All the costumers will be treats like a princess. they would goes down one knee and asks: “Yes, my princess?” when you call them.  

There are a lots of Japanese women going there < they even have a princess member card > Butlers Cafe has attracted around 2,000 frequent customers monthly! 

I think I kind of get an idea why Natsu gets really frustrated sometimes when she tolds him that she will be out to the butler cafe even though there is no sexual services or anything like that.

It probably got him thinking what has he done or has not done for her so she still seeking for some fleeting moment of romance.

But again I also understand the woman's feeling.

It could be really hard living in Japan and sometimes you will need to escape from all the depression and reality.

hmmm.....it looks nice and i don't wonder why your brother worried about his gf....would be good if Butler is in BKK too.....

I think its a good marketing plan and surely should it work well in Japan. Its not a new concept though. Personally I dont think if I would feel comfortable being treated like that in the pictures by those gorgeous guys, but i wouldnt mind going there if i need to.

ofcourse she can go there. Why not.lol

I've seen this thing on TV, they said those women spend shitloads of cash on the guys.

And they're not even that goodlooking.....

it's great idea and bit of marketing.... women want to feel like a princess/queen sometimes it might not be about romance but a childhood feeling rfom fairytales and childhood stories and being called 'my princess'.

Men go to strip clubs and look at porn. Women read romance novels and go to a place like this.... what matters is that they come home to you and love you! If nothing else I would add to my home life for a bit of fun rent a tux and make a very nice dinner with candle light and serve her, feed her the food and when ever she asks for something do as they do. Show that you understand and appreciate the bit of fantasy and that's all it is.

hehehe.... though those boy are not my type but no wonder why he got pissed off when his girl loves to go there so often.
