ok!..before i start, let me make clear that i am a budhist and i am not religious.* [this adjective is too broad in this sense though.]

yes, i am going to write about religion(s). 'Buddhism'...

hey.....get ready for soem pain-killer pills!

i'm not being controvesial here...just my perspective that i'm going to reveal.

i have come to a new depth of understanding my own religion. buddhism is diffent from other religions. buddhism does not teach us to believe. buddhism is not a belief. buddhism is knowledge that requires deep consideration* and practices* in order to reach the enlightenment.

understanding brings us peace of mind.

understanding eliminates anger.

understanding diminishs greed.

understanding decreases lust.

understanding destablizes judgement.

understanding reinforces knowledge.

understanding increases conscience.

understanding creates forgivness.

there are several elements such as monks, temples, traditions and etc., that work as meduim. these medium help carry on and iconize the existant of the religion. there will be no sin if you do not participate in buddhism traditions. hell and heaven were created to help holding people, who have not yet enlightened the core of buddhism, to behave in reasonable ways. but for me,...there is not hell nor heaven. if there will be any, they are on earth.

try to understand things around you, and keep understanding in practice...then you are on your way to nirvana alive!

I will be studying Buddhism soon because it seems to make good sence to me. Maybe I am a Buddhist because I believe "what goes around, comes around."? Anyway, it seems like a very peaceful religion.

interesting topic, always controversial.

what if life on earth is a temporary stopping off place for underestanding.

what if there is no hell, only different levels of heaven depending on what we have learned while on earth.

would a creater, create a hell for his/her children?

or would a church or religion create a hell to make us believers?

just some simple thoughts

the first time i heard the little mermaid story, i wonderred why she was worried if she would become a sea form. isn't that the ultimatly peaceful way to leave the world? isn't that the real nirvana that we have been searching for?

heaven is another form of utopia. where your stage of mind, your philosophy, your knowledge don't matter anymore. because we completely overcome the 7 sins.

can we do that while we are still alive?

would a creater, create a hell for his/her children?

or would a church or religion create a hell to make us believers?

sure they would, they did, they do.

we all ahve been in hell alive...and to get rid of it...we have to use our clear mind to understand all related factors and reasons. then acknowledge and enlighten.

some interesting and provacative thoughts

some peoples idea of hell may be another's idea of heaven, all depends on your perpective.

maybe heaven on earth is not having to worry about yourself but only how you can help others

maybe the monk with no property or material goods is happy, and maybe some rich people are not, because they always want for more, and more.

maybe some people are more interested in worldly goods and miss the joy and people around them.

simple thoughts

Bobby ran down the mountain top. When he got to the village, he ran to the center of the square where all the villagers were. He shouted from the top of his lungs "he has arrived, he has arrived!!" All the people looked at him and thought it was the ramblings of a crazy man. They laughted at him. He turned and walked away back to the mountain as he thought, "they are not ready yet."
