Reunion!!!!!

Time to dust off my flares, look out my baggy top and find that old fisherman's hat because the reunion bug has finally hit the Stone Roses!!  13 years after they split, it looks as if a 21 date tour is on for this summer!!With the distinctive vocals of Ian Brown and the sublime guitar playing of John Squire (arguably the best British guitarist of his generation) the Roses were the 'musical' face of the baggy/Madchester scene. While the Happy Mondays were an e fuelled shambolic mess live, the Roses consistently provided some of the best live shows of the 90's. Having travelled to the gigs at Blackpool, Alexandra Palace and Spike Island, as well as the Glasgow Green shows, I have a feeling that some of this summer will be spent reliving those heady days of Madchester...Here's some classic moments...

Showing Kylie my **** was the start of my career.

I've got a mate out here next week that did all of the Roses electronic background for their albums, sadly he went into hard Techno from there.

Lyna - hope this gets you to download some stuff by them then - would also check out Ian Brown or John Squire's solo stuff too.

Shorty - no overalls needed - just an old pair of flares and a fisherman's hat!!!
