Taking over daddy's journal Part IX
I haven't done a journal for ages as daddy's puter has not been well and I havenot been able to get him to put all my pics up, so this will be a long one of some of what I have been up to. I have been through to see Grandma a couple of times; she lives in a very posh block and I love playing in her lift which has mirrors all around. We had a day out at the Boness and Kinneil Railway; I saw Thomas the Tank Engine!!
And there were other old steam trains too!!
I loved the old train; new ones are soooo boring.
And I sat on Grandma's knee to see out the window!
There was some old cars at the station and daddy got very excited!
Then we went to a park and I made Grandma and Aunt Jenny get on the horsey thing.
I LIKE this a lot!!!!You have probably noticed from my other journals that i LOVE to play!!
And I also love to pose for pictures!!
Then, last weekend, we went out to the West End Festival for a big day out! We sat in the Botanic Gardens for a picnic while a pipe band practiced nearby; ooooh they were loud!!
Then it was up to the children's garden for strawberries and cream - my favourite!!!
Then it was a walk down to Kelvingrove Park itself for the festival. First stop - the rides!!!
Then the spinny teacup ride!!
Time for ice cream!!!!
Daddy wanted to go into the beer tent area, but it was very busy!!
Even Darth Vader (whoever he is) managed to pull and get this lady's phone number (though daddy muttered something about her being no lady)
It was time to go and watch the parade, and I made daddy buy me a dinosaur balloon on the way (my favourite dinosaur is a diggersaurus but I can say pteorodactyl and I am only 3!!)
But it tried to eat me!!!! Daddddddy!!!
I gave daddy the balloon and waited for the parade to start with my pom poms ready; I love drummers!!
There were dancing ladies in bikinis (daddy seemed to enjoy this bit for some reason)
...people in silly costumes...
...lot's of bands!!!
And ladies in fairy costumes!! Daddy...I want one like that!!!
At this point, daddy showed how silly he is as he had not recharged his camera batteries, so didn't get any pics of the Chinese dragon or the other bands or all the drummers!! Silly daddy! After the parade was past we went and got new batteries for his camera then he took me to get my face painted...
Look at me!!! I'm a bunny wabbit!!!
Then we went to see the drummers in the park; I want drums please daddy!
Then a capoeira group...
Time for some chocolate to keep my energy levels up!!
And a hug for daddy for a great day out!!
Despie the tens of thousands of people in the park, the River Kelvin still looked tranquil...
But as we left the park, the clouds were getting darker...
Daddy!!! I want THIS ice cream!!
And to finish the day, dinner at a pavement cafe. Daddy says pavement cafes in Glasgow makes it look like Paris after a nuclear war, but I don't know what that means...
Well that's all from me today...see you all soon. Oh and Kus, stop being nasty to my daddy or I will come and bite you!! ; )
