Posted this mainly for Rob, but for everyone to enjoy. It features Julian Lloyd Webber (Andrew's brother) playing one of the variations of Paganini's Caprice in A Minor. A bit of culture for a summer's day!!

I would much rather have seen Iain trying to play that funny looking instrument with about eight legs, that sounds like a cat wailing, when played in the wrong hands.

I have to say though that when played correctly, it makes the hairs on the back of the neck stand up. And thats from a sassenach!

thankfully have never attempted funky - the 'hairs standing up' syndrome is why the British army always used to have the pipers at the front - scared the bejasus out the enemy before a shot was fired or a sword raised lol

Great performance, though I often wonder what the late (and very much missed) Jacqueline Du Pre would have made of them - though when it comes to adaptations of the Paganini Caprice no. 24, my favourite by far is Rachmaninov's Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini
