TF in Phuket

Mr. and Mrs. Admin arrived in Phuket yesterday to start the TF in Phuket trip. We are staying at a nice boutique hotel in Patong, which is close to everything. Since we arrived before everyone else, we were able to have what we are calling “our sugarmoon” (as opposed to a honeymoon) as this is right before our wedding celebration in Boston in a couple of weeks.

After checking in, we took a stroll along the beach. We got some spicy seafood salad, grilled chicken, and sticky rice, and had a nice picnic by the water for a couple of hours. Then we walked and walked some more, doing some window-shopping and getting some snacks for the hotel room. There seem to be a lot more touts selling random things this time…All we can do is feel bad for them, say thank you, and move on…

Today we had breakfast in our room (banana bread, corn bread, and coffee), and went downstairs to meet up with fellow TF’er Ghee. Off to the beach we went, but since it was a bit overcast, we sat at a beachside café, had a bit more to eat (pizza and thai food combo), chatted, and watched the passerby. The air is so much nicer out here…I forget what semi-clean air smells like! Then we got Thai massages, strolled around a mall, and came back to the room.

Tonight we will meet up with some TF’ers in Phuket, including Enchanted and English_Bob. E_B will show us his new club, Sound Phuket, which looks amazing. TF’er Kennnn will be arriving tomorrow and wants to check out the club too…so it looks like 2 nights of "Sound Phuket" are in order.

have a pre-honeymoon dinner at the White Box up the Patong hill heading north. Probably you will like the Long Island Ice Tea on 1st floor after dinner. And let them give you a ride down to your Patong hotel for free in their big white car..

first of all congrats mr. and mrs. admin - i just learned what a 'sugarmoon' is and to think all this time I thought the moon was made of cheese :)

- just reading your story makes me wonder how hard I am working these days and gives me the urge to take a much overdue vacation..GK's taking notes for his next Phuket holiday..the sound factory if its english bob's I will tell all my friends to go there when they visit Phuket....wish you all safe - to have fun and a great time...
