Hey guys and gals!

Don't get me wrong - I know that winter time also is connected to snow (at least in my area of living), but - is it fair that I shoveled clear my car (see pic 1) only to find out that the next time it is again covered by snow competely? The weather forecast told us that temperatures would be above zero - so I did not put on the protective shield for my windscreen (which is a bit silly to adjust). And now... just have a look.

Luckily I am only observing all this right now through my window, as I have a flu with 39 degrees of fever so I would not get out anyhow - but still - is this fair? Hope that the snow has gone when I am fit again!

**** - how to put the respective pics public? Is it only in my delirious fever phantasies, am I just too stupid to do or what?

Well, I like winter, at least when the snow is still white - but right now I am upset!!!

Oooh! Between the two "desastrous snowfalls" we had a great family meeting with all of my nephews and their parents (might they now be genetically related to me or not - we are all good family!), yes and also with my cousins. And we had a great afternoon by just doing the downhill sleigh ride for the kids at a place close to my cousins place. It really was a nice event!

Well, pic 1 would show my car covered by approx. 1 meter (3ft) of snow. Pic 2 would show that all of the cars in my street (of course also mine, although not visible) are covered by some 30cm (1ft) of snow. Pic 1 was taken at the end of January - pic 2 just 30 mins ago. Oh - for the rest of my pics, just look at my profile...

So, at the end - winter has its pros and cons! Right now I am to see the cons more than the pros... I mean, once I already shoveled out my car, why should I do it again??? ;-P

Here in finland that is normal, especially at eastern and northern part. If here is some ppl who like snow, welcome to finland:) ...its very annoying at morning when you are hurry and your car is covered with snow...!

I know well about the finnish thing as I worked together with a lot of finnish people! Terve!

But still - if you get down from your home thinking you will drive whereever you think and then you have to shovel out your car first - perkele saatana!!!

Nice poem! But when it comes to skiing, I like the snow. Am I a split personality now? ;-)
