Yesterday(my BD) at noon ,I took my mother to a restaurant.

Fay?s mother : ?oh this is an expensive one. it will cost you too much for lunch?

Fay: ?it is your special day?

Fay?s mother : ?no no? go to get another one?

Fay: ?it is ok, Russ will pay for this. He said that you gave birth to a woman he loves .He just wants to buy

something nice for you as a gift ?

Fay?s mother : ?oh he made me feel so good. I want to cry but I never cried for thing like this before?

She started looking for something cheapest on the menu

Fay:?why don?t you have this one (point at the menu).I know you like it?

Fay?s mother :?My son (she always calls Russ my son or my prince) ,he will pay for this. I don?t want him to

spend that much money ,he must save for starting his new family?

Fay: (thinking) ?everything you think about is just for your daughters ?

In the evening she phoned me to go to MK restaurant (she goes there every day).after dinner ,I asked if she

wanted to go to ice-cream shop as always

Fay?s mother : ?no but I have something for you?

Then those MK ?s waiters and waitresses coming up with a bowl of ice-cream and singing HBD song????

I was laughing at those things she had done to me LOL

Fay?s mother : ?FREE ice-cream always delicious !!!?

I know she just wanted FREE ICE-CREAM as on one?s BD restaurant will give them ice-cream for free.

I love you mother ? even I know you love ?ice-cream? enough to embarrass your daughter in public

I could see my students also my high school- friend and her family were looking at me and smiling .

This is a small town MOTHER !! everyone know each others ?.

My BD comes in a couple weeks and I too am taking my mother to dinner for it.

For years she would return from a long day at work and always had little cake and ice cream parties for my siblings and I on our birthdays. Now in her retirement she can have some peace.
