I couldn't sleep, so I got up and decided to unpack my new iMac. Bloody hell, this thing is big.I just set it up temporarily to check everything was working, before I cleared my desk:It looks really odd that you can see almost the whole TF page without having to scroll down:Compare the screen size to my 15" MBP:Next job is to transfer all my stuff across frommy old G5 iMac.

mmm it would look REALLY nice if the pixels went to the very edge of the monitor.

My old G5 took 13 hours to rip a DVD. This one just did it in under 30 mins. Now I can load up my AppleTV..

I have the 24" imac which is excellent but 4 gig maximum ram. It works fine for now but dam can't imagine how they will improve next years model !

I just bought a new Macbook, converted avi movie 700Mb to H264 for iPod Touch in 1 hour. Used to take 5 hours on iBook G4. Snow Leopard is really smooth and fast, utilizing all the computer's resources. Apple computers keep getting better and better
