Well, after 5 weeks of waiting, my new 27", quad core iMac finally arrived this afternoon. Looks like I've got some setting up to do tonight, or this weekend. :-)

I'll wait till my old mac dies first, give me a shout if you need software.

beej...my old iMac is nearly six years old. I tried to rip a DVD yesterday with Handbrake yesterday.

It said that it would take 13 hours. I somehow think that this one will be a little bit faster.
