As some of you have noticed (about 20) there is a Leo Fancy Dress Movie Party on 31st July.

 

I have had literally SEVERAL messages asking about it...

 

So here are a few questions and answers...

 

 

 

Q  Why Leo?  Isn't that the shittest of all beers?

 

A  Well, yes it is.  However, it is also a zodiac sign for people born in late July and early August.  I am one of them (3rd August).  So this also acts as my BDay party and anyone else with that star sign.

 

 

 

Q  Isn't this just a way to get people to come to your restaurant?

 

A  Sort of... I saw there weren't many events planned and I had been thinking about doing one anyway.  However, the best night for TF parties is Saturday... and I always work on Saturdays.  So the only way I can attend is if I work and party at the same time!

 

 

 

Q  Will you be abusing you management privilege and giving stuff away?

 

A  Yes, of course!  Although only at Charley Brown's as I have no affiliation with the other places.  I will be giving away several free drinks to people I like and some I just pretend to like.  I will also be giving away prizes as follows...

 

1)  Sexiest Female Costume - 1500 baht meal at Charley Brown's

 

2)  Best Male Costume - choice of a T-shirt or a pitcher of Margarita or Sangria

 

3)  Best Female Costume - choice of a T-shirt or a pitcher of Margarita or Sangria

 

 

 

Q  Will you get drunk and be stupidly generous at the other venues?

 

A  Almost certainly, as I will consider this my birthday party.  And in true Thai style, the birthday boy ends up broke.

 

 

 

Q  Why a Movie Theme?  Couldn't you find anything easier?

 

A  In a word... "No."  There are literally millions of movies and hundreds of thousands of characters.  Some are simple, some elaborate.  But everyone has something that can be worn as a costume.

 

 

 

Q  Can you give me some ideas?

If i have to choose amongst above dresses i would go for Lara Croft even if I dont' have big boobs, but a roll of tissue could help..lol... :D
