Well maybe 'star' is overstating it a little... Ok a lot.

But I switched onto Cinemax tonight and saw they are showing Sniper 3. This is a truly dreadful movie, but in the first scene you can see English_bob as an American soldier in a Pentagon army base (really a disused roller disco in Chiang Mai)

I met Tom Berenger - fat and disillusioned.

And I met some good people and got paid for having fun.

Best part of the movie - Tom Berenger's taxi drive through 'Saigon'.... Look for all the Thai adverts in the background.

It still amazes me when low budget movies cant be bothered to take care what they shoot - these things are obviously aimed at the non-travelling portion of the public in places where they may not know the difference between different parts of Asia...well it all looks the same anyway right? Jeeeeeeeeeeesus!
