hello to you all.                                                                                                              5 of us are coming to thailand pattaya in august for a couple wks we were told that the fishing is good any one got any idea of whats around that area ,

depends what kind of fish you are after..

all kinds , freash water, sea fishing, we dont care as long as we are catch something.

You can definately catch something in Pattaya :-)

pattaya is an unsavory part of Thailand known mostly for prostitution.

if you are going to experience Thai culture, I think you will be disappointed.

Lately they found containers full of corpses in the Ocean, probably the Russians... so if you fish, let it go after... unless you are into 2nd hand cannibalism.

long time ago in Costa Rica some mature american guys told me they would be there for big game fishing. In the morning all the fisherboats lay ashore. Only the divers went out to the sea at 8.30 am. The big game fishermen had their fresh latina fish in their beds. I guess..probably they went night fishing ?
