Without giving it much thought I threw my TF "Are You On?" t-shirt in when I packed for my trip to Vietnam. I think it was Friday when I finally wore it. Just like in Bangkok several people shouted out to me "Hey, are you on?" One guy who was sitting at a little sidewalk food cart downing beers asked me to come and sit down with him and his shirtless group of friends (I had to decline as I was actually hurrying to get back to the hotel for something).

I know what the British interpretation of that phrase is but I doubt most Thais or Vietnamese get it so I have to assume that many people are just curious or amused at the question. Whatever it is . . . people seem to love it :-)
