AirAsia has some pretty sick deals if you can book in advance.  Buy your tickets between 10 August 2010 - 18 August 2010 for travel between 1 April 2011 - 11 Aug 2011 and you can get flights to Chiang Mai for as low as 118 baht or Phuket for 214 baht.  

How about a TF event in Krabi or Phuket?  Anybody up for it?

Looked at some of the prices...after taxes and stuff, it came to about 3000bht. Not sure what the prices in that area usually are. But all of a sudden 118bht seems a lifetime ago.lol

right... hard to find wysiwyg in asia... have we not learned that yet.

That's the rub with all of these sorts of low fares. That's not the all-in price. Though going from 118 to 3000 just in taxes seems a bit odd to me. Sometimes only X number of seats on each flight are available and once those are gone it's the normal price. That seems far more likely than over 2900 in fees and taxes.

right, i paid with my airmiles, lately, flight was free, but only taxes was 3000 bath, for one domestic flight!!!
