Dress code : Pink IV and perhaps a helping hand for soi cats & dogs
Recently a friend of mind introduced me to SCAD Bangkok and I'm thrilled to learn about what SCAD has been doing for those Soi dogs and cats in Bangkok.
Therefore, at the party beside of having fun, drinking, having good food together, I would like to invite you to donate a little something to SCAD in order to help them help those poor animals in Bangkok. I will send out a pink hat for some small coins or perhaps cats/dogs food.
You could check how to help SCAD from http://www.scadbangkok.org/howtohelp/index.htm
or you could also donate some money directly to SCAD http://www.scadbangkok.org/donate/index.htm
If you are on Facebook, you could check out some stories of those Soi dogs and cats from "SCAD Bangkok (soi/street cats & dogs of Bangkok)
Here is an eample :
******************************
These kittens were born to a young cat living on the roof of SCAD supporters Lisa and Marcus on 19 March. The mother is now tired and thin, has lots of wounds from being attacked by other cats. The four kittens have survived heat, rain and being moved and sniffed at by large male cats, and are resilient and slowly becoming playful. They are living in a dangerous situation on the roof, and unwanted by the neighbours. Three of four kittens were caught on 20 April and need permanent homes They are currently being checked by the vet and if all goes well will be reunited with their fourth sibling and their mother until she can be released after being spayed. One of them (the little brown tabby) broke his hip when he was just a few days old: a bird tried to get him but dropped him on the ground. He shakes considerably when he walks, and will need a very caring home. He has a good appetite and can get around quickly, although he is constantly shaking.
