Was surprised with the women visiting porn sites at work stat (13%). Most girls, when asked if they watch porn deny it and act disgusted at the thought so 13% is quite high.

Especially if its within Asian cultures, the female will usually feel more compelled by traditional mores to deny ever watching pornography. Think: the more stereotypically desirable traits of demurity and naivity of a Chinese girl-woman. Not sure if it's the case for Western females (cos I can only speak for Asians, being Asian myself). But among Asian females from less traditional societies, they will be more willing to admit to fellow females that they have watched, though less ready to say that to male friends.

Teddy, uh, I think you/we know with enough gals that would not only admit to it but be proud of it. :-) LOL

Lets face it if there was a brand new internet created tomorrow that banned porn. I would be willing to bet odds that it wouldn't survive or last very long. Ironically porn keeps a lot of the free stuff that you use on the internet free it actually pays a lot of the WWW operation. Hosting companies make millions off of Porno sites. Money just like gas for a car keeps the engine going.

The $4.9billion spent worldwide is an interesting number. In the gambling industry, the corporation I worked for grossed $8.7billion on average a year just by itself. Almost double the money spent on all of porn, and we were just one corporation, granted the largest money wise, but still just one.

There is much more money spent on gambling than porn, and it is much more destructive.
