Anybody have any Hua Hin hotel recommendations? I'll likely be heading down there this weekend with a friend who is in from out of town who would like to see something other than Bangkok.

Something 3-star'ish or so would be nice.

Might end up there but since we don't have a dog no need to limit ourselves to dog friendly hotels this time.

i love Air force hotel, (don't know the name in English but it belongs to Air force, only 900 baht, sea view, on the beach (private beach) and nice swiming pool... big room. It's near Dusit Resort, if i wasn't wrong.

Ohh another one is Minitel hotel only 700 baht. It wasn't bad, tiny swimming pool, walk about 100 m. to the nice beach.

The people of Hua Hin have done nothing to deserve that kind of torture. :-)

Putahracsa is my favorite...but more 5 star'ish. They do some nice promotions sometimes though
