All of the guys that talk crap about boys being 'whipped' by their girlfriends are also the guys who seem to never have a relationship with anyone..obviously you just don't know how to treat a girl.....

Really that type of comment is used between guys to make fun of eachother. Thats what guys do: make fun of eachother and talk about women the other half of the time haha.

Usually that type of comment is not directed at/or meant to, disrespect the woman. It's used to make fun of the fact the guy gets told what to do by a woman (which is seen as a loss of masculinity) it's immature, but hey. Guys don't make these rules, they just have to play by them.

I think it's a comment on his pre and post relationship behavior. Sometimes the guy will change dramatically and it's a commentary on how much the woman has caused him to change

A: there's a difference between compromise and 'being whipped." Men and women can both be manipulative. When it's the woman, men are called whipped. When it's the man... well, I don't know a word for it, but I know plenty of women that let themselves be manipulated by their man. Neither case is good.

B: That's way too fatalistic. I could have married my university sweetheart, a Thai girl. Almost did. My dad and mom were high school sweeties. When you're in a relationship, give it your all. When you're out, love being single. But I wouldn't give up on someone just because of statistics.
