When you are accepted at the University, you will be tested to find out your level of English comprehension, and math skills. That particular TOEFL test isn't used. so there is no score to compare with, or that is transfered. The only English requirement in applying is that you can fill out the application in English.

After you are accepted you will be tested at the University on English comprehension, and in mathmatics, at the USA senior high school level to find out what remedial classes you will need to take in order to finally start school at the freshman level. You will have to successfully pass all the remedial classes.

To enter as a freshman you will be expected to have an understanding of English at a higher level than just being able to speak, and write. You will be expected to show a high school graduate level of comprehension, writing, and understanding, and a math knowledge at the same level. It is the same thing as successfully passing the English GED classes. That is the high school graduate test if you didn't actually graduate when you were supposed to.

Before you consider applying to an American University you should pass the English GED requirements from a school here in Thailand, not just the TOEFL test.

It is very expensive to go to any USA University as an out-of-state/country student, but I'm sure you are aware of that.

If you are Thai and never completed high school or Bachelor's degree from The US. Before applying for Master's degree in America, you are required to have TOEFL scores, GMAT or GRE if you intend to study business degree along with application. You will need higher scores and money to enter one of" prestigious " schools. It is simple. Only thing you can do is that studying very hard. There are also state universities. A lots of them are good to very good and require resonable test scores.Narrowing down your areas of interest, university, then you contact the university to see what their requirements.

On the other hand, if you really don't care about university reputation, you have money to spend, you can also contact the admission department of many universities and they will accept you. Good luck!
