Little Feet 26

A lot of stuff going on with us lately. I've opened up myself to opportunities here and abroad, and things have been happening quickly. I contacted 3 of my most successful friends who are working in industries that interest me, and threw some lines out. Nothing concrete yet, but two have been looking really good. I can't go much into detail about them, but just thinking about it is a strange feeling.

It's hard to think about leaving TH let alone actually doing it. I doubt I'd seriously consider something like this if it wasn't for Jazz, but now it's just a question of when to move on. As for now, I've quit the whole teaching thing as I realized it was making me unhappy, and I felt as though I was wasting time.

Chatting with Bill about this has been interesting. We're in the same boat in many aspects. However, we don't have much to say about leaving TH since there really isn't much of a discussion in there. Now my concerns are more about how to get Yoma over, the best way to get a green card, and places to live. The culture shock is something that I won't be able to prepare for.

Anyway, everything is still up in the air...nothing is ever sure until you're sitting in the states, watching the Red Sox beat the Yankees yet again...ugh, makes me want to puke.

Jazz had her first year birthday party last Saturday. We had a great group of people over, including about 5 "luk kreungs" and a good group of friends. I'm waiting on pics from friends as I wasn't snapping away. Chris and Bill, feel free to post em on here if you get the chance.

Here are a couple Jazz vids from today and a few days ago. Happy birthday to my girl. Everyday with her gets better and better.

One already!!! Seems like only yesterday we were all waiting for her arrival!! Hope you make the right choices Rob; know the poker debacle hit you hard and you need to put the security of the family first and especially good treatment for little Jasmine. Wishing you every luck and happiness.

Geezus. Another one!?

Actually saying that. We're thinking of moving to the States as well. In fact I hear on the (g)rapevine that there is going to be a mass exodus from Thailand to the US.

is it because I havent played golf with you yet? I can change. lol

I haven't been reading that many journals for a while now. But every time I see your Little Feet post, I always have to click and read. The little princess grows up so fast and she looks absolutely happy! Happy belated birthday to Jasmine. ^_^
