hello my sweet space ; )

how are you sweetie? how was your day? are you tired? long day, baby? lean on my shoulder and i'll hold you tight darling...

wahahahahahaaaa...

The simulacrum is never what hides the truth - it is truth that hides the fact that there is none. The simulacrum is true. (Ecclesiastes)

one of my cyber friend has been encouraging me to create a million bucks project, he suggests me to create cybergirlfriend for guys who look for sweet girls that are hard to find in real life (is that true, guys?). i'm thinking that it's possible to do so, although i dont think that i am capable in creating it all by myself but theoretically is it possible. i need to have a good AI expert, expert system analysist, psychologist, computer programmer, 3D artist, a couple sweet gals and a few playboys in my team.

my narrative strand is to let guy choose his preferences in order to create an avatar of his cybergirlfriend. the guy and the cybergf will keep interacting through the interface. the AI system will work cooperatively with the expert system. the two systems will keep tracking and updating the database hence, the cybergf will be the result of the development. she will be the answer of how to access and to satisfy the guy emotionally (which will lead to a one-side physical sexuality).

what holds me back is that i rather encourage people to enjoy real life no matter how struggle it would take them through. at the same time, the cybergf project can be used as a theraputic tool instead of being an actual part of human life.

the thing is, any avatars are not true, they are intangible. they can be kept forever in digital format but they don't physically exist. since they don't physically exist, human tends to go easy, slim down their morallity and interact with it in a way they wouldn't do with anyone in real life. hence, when they can become themselves regardless of what morallities are, they easily get suck in and that's how the simulacrum arises.

what interests me to see if this project get produced is, how will it end? i would love to see the ending of this kind of relationship. as i studies about Marshall McLuhan theories,he suggests that what really keeps people oriented is realities : for example, telephone captures more attention from human than TV and Radio because the truth of voice that reach human's ear. as human, we need something biological to hang on. but still...simulacrum is true...where thuth is nothingness.

ciao!

wahahhahaaaaaaaaa.....mann...this marketing survay seems to work!

i chatted with a bot a couple times, and i found it's somehow frustrated.

it learns from us more than we learn from them

when i tried training the AIBO, sony robot dog...that's when the AI taught me how to interact with it.

both ways are boring...and the AIBO got his neck broken coz i pet his head too much and he's got a heavy head...not very well ergonomic design.

why not just buy an Aibo?

or get Sony to make something like an Aibo but give it female human form

sure what n'Jane is talking about would be a very interesting research project for psychology, computer science, design... but to have such a thing released commercially? that's frightening. we have enough soporifics that remove people from contact with other people, like television and video games of increasing sophistication that remove us from the effort to communicate with our own species. why do some people seriously buy an Aibo or other robotic pet? (and they do seriously buy them!) how can they have a relationship with a thing that doesn't need them? i have a more fulfilling relationship with my bicycle for chrissakes, because it needs regular care and maintenance to keep up with a lot of hard use. the 'need' of an Aibo etc. is completely artifiicial, and the same with a cybergf. at least some technologies (cellphones, internet) aid us in communication, though there's plenty of junk, but i think a cybergf is just a drug or a crutch, and likely helps to atrophy a person's ability to communicate with the real thing.
