Just got back from having what was by far the worst massage I have ever had in twenty years of coming to Thailand. There are always some that are not so good, but this one was just plain BAD!!

I was going to go to Healthland Asoke, but was tired, and it is always a wait, so I decided to try a place just along from my hotel in Soi 19, called Reflex.

I knew almost the second she started that this was not going to be a good one. The girl didn't have a clue. Most of it consisted of her digging her elbows into me with as much force as she could, and when she wasn't doing that, the rest of it was her probably just trying to mimic things that she had watched other masseuses doing.

I lasted about 15 mins before cutting it short and leaving.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to say "this place is good" or "this place is bad", it always depends on the person. I have a favorite in Fashion Island but also my biggest "foe" who only inflicts pain on me without any further use, so before going there, I am booking the good one by phone (i.e. that my wife is booking him for me as no one there speaks English), he already knows me and concentrates on my feet and legs and leaves my shoulders alone, Excellent!
