I think the first thing i remember was that the time i arrived it was the end of the rainy seaon and it used to rain at the same time everyday...I am sure it was about 4:30pm. Everyday like clockwork it woudl rain...and when it rains it really does rain!! Not like the weak drizzle you get back home, this is the real deal. If you are gonna get wet, at least have some fun!!

that's why i love bkk, i love rains, i love when it rains, i remember that in rainy season it rains every everying at 4.30 pm as he said. heavy rains with thunder storm...and i love that...and i don't care if it's flooding everywhere as long as it's not up to my chest, just becoz i dunno how to swim!!!

rain gives point of focus to the empty skies.

it identifies the feeling of the air around me.

and after the rain, i usually took my camara out to take close-up pix of trees. i love that, trees are much more beautiful after the rain...it emphasis the contrast between the green leaves and the dark tree trunks. dirty air becomes clean as all the smog got caught by the rain drops.

me and one of my brother love getting stucked in the traffic when it's raining, coz it's so beautiful when we look outside. and we put nice music on and we had snack and milk and we talked and we laught.

and those days were gone...

I know it is a clich? but hearing and seeing the rain, and sometimes being in it...well there is just something about it. Whether it relaxes you or makes you feel happy...I dont think i can really explain it. When it rains hard...you stay undercover and this time you are not rushing to get on the skytrain or doing anything...it almost forces you to stop your life, put it on hold for a while and just wait!! Maybe this is why I like it when it rains....otherwise i wouldnt stop rushing around!!

As 2unique says, the power of it all, especially when you get the thunder and lightning...the very first day i moved into my apartment there was a massive thunderstorm...I remember just listening and watching through the window...that was until it caused all the power to be cut from my apartment!!

Well, we have plenty of rain to look forward to in the coming months!! If it does get to chest height I would happlity swim to work every morning!! and I would also by atomicflower a rubber dinghy to get around too!

I love rain, i like feeling touched by rain drops.. one think i dont particularly like is getting stuck under pouring rain in my car... i dont like looking through the windshield... and feel like crying...tears drop out off the big wide eyes screen...

I like storms, but not really just plain old rain. When you have a storm and have all the elements thunder, lightening, rain, wind it is awe inspiring...The rain I have been seeing here in California the last few days is a constant drizzle, and cold. Not at all pleasant or romantic..Well the sound of it is pleasing. But right now it is depressing... Nothing like the romantic storms you see in Phuket or Samui walking along the beaches, getting caught in it...
