are you frigging nuts!!!
space!
everyone who knows me also knows that i love watching cartoon, especially 'Arthur'. and now PBSkids has also launched 'Postcards from Buster', Buster is Arthur's best friend. so basically the two cartoon animations are related to each other. Postcards from Buster is the stories of Buster visiting many places and get to know many local kids with interesting, cultural, ethnical activities all over america.
in one episode, which im not sure if it was filmed in indiana, but it was the episode that buster learns how to make maple syrup.
there were a lesbian couple, or..a.s portrayed...a kid with two moms, appeared in this episode.
i've seen this episode myself and didnt even notice or aware of that at all..but some audiences did and they disagreed with the idea of promoting a different lift-style to young kids.
for more info pls read http://smallscreen.monstersandcritics.com/article_3921.php/PBS_Under_Fire_Over_Buster's_Lesbian_Friends
damn damn damn...i couldnt say much when considerring that i am not a parent. but when looking from my perspective, gender has veen a predefined practice, rather than a natural practice. which means that societies, the uses of languages, cultures, beliefs, human's sexual organs, perception and the likes are the elements that influence us in 'believing' what our gender should be regardless of actual sexual practice. while the practice itself is the only actual act/element that defines our gender!
ok! cup the craps!
postcards from buster is a very good show, it's entertaining, informative and educational for both adults and children.
i don't want to try to understand those audiences who try to ban this show...
ciao!
