based on what you've told us, I'd agree with ghee, at least in the short term

but on the 2nd job what are the other benefits, like how many weeks holiday, travel expenses, health insurance etc

save some money and travel later

having said that, if your real desire is to travel overseas, go for the 1st one for a while. Waiting a year to save money is no big deal. But will you get any free time to really see the places you visit?

Well now, that was of absolutely no help at all. Sorry :-)

Job 1. 18,000.....job 2. 30,000.......but job 1 offers world travel and more free time...the question is....what is your free time and opportunity to travel worth?....

For me... Im interested in job 1....But you have to decide ja.

- If i were you i will pick the 1st one, as travelling will earned you much more than money you will get per month. I work hard to save up to have only once ( or twice ) a year for travel But for you, besides from travel you would also still get piad.., so lucky girl you are.. :-)

- For the second one, you can make up that high income, but you have to work under pressure and also on weekend which is i call my precious hours..LOL.. Apple, pick the best one which suit your life style. and enjoy your working .. na ja..

Posting late but nobody has asked and you haven't said, which job has the better opportunity for advancement in the future? That counts for something too!

Based only on what you've said so far, I'd go for #2.

I think 1st job is better in terms of exposure. You get to learn different cultures and working patterns which can only do you good in the long run. A couple of years, you should be well-travelled and more experienced than most people in the streets, and you can command higher salary then.

2nd job.

It's while u r young that u have to make yr money. U don't have to start while u r 40y old

The difference between the 2 paychecks is too big to ignore it. Go for it, and if u don't like it after awhile, u can stil look for another one.

Success with yr new job, whatever u choose.
