Last night I spent a very sticky 2 hours crushing 54 kilo of grapes and ended up with bits of grape skin stuck between my toes and sticky juice all up my legs. It took another hour cleaning up the mess I had made. Never mind, in six weeks I hope to taste the new and very young 2005 vintage wine.

The trouble some of us have to go to when it?s not possible to nip down to 7-eleven for a bottle of red plonk!

I will be keeping my fingers crossed that 2005 will be a good vintage year and I can manage to keep enough bottles stashed away for the new year celebrations.

i'm sure you'll manage to down it even if it isnt a vintage.. : )
