I have heard the phrase - mon KEE OH. With the emphasis on the last part of the word. You could say it, monkeeeaooow, if you like. This phrase is often accompanied by a pinch on the arm. I have discussed this with a Thai friend who speaks excellent English and had it translated two ways - someone who talks about silly things. Also translated as - I wanna kick the **** out of you. (In a joking manner.) What translation would you apply to this phrase ? btw Thanks to everyone who has helped in my previous threads.

... Oh well... I dont teach bad words to my Sugar Dada BUT he went out with his Mates and his mate told him that One bird is Rad Maak Maak..... He didnt quite understand what does it really mean in English. When he got back home he asked me... So, I told him.... Phu Ying Rad is Mmmm... kind of a <slutty alike> bird who does everything inappropriately in public to get attention from Men... kind of loud, easy, fast, misbehavior ..... and not too coy... :? .. if a bird seemed to be very shy & quiet and kept herself very well BUT she was very fast behind public's eyes .... she was NOT Rad... she was "Nam Ning Lai Luk"... ¹éÓ¹Ôè§äËÅÅÖ¡.... :? Mmmm is there any word in one word in English just for Phu Ying RAD-áô ??? Anyone knows ?? Thanks.. -WB-

There's a really good and useful FREE software package for looking up English or Thai words. It's extremely helpful but your computer needs to be enabled for Thai fonts, and if you can't read Thai it's pretty useless too. You can download it here: http://lexitron.nectec.or.th

Sawasdee, sabai dee rue? ok, I was talking with my sexy friend on yahoo and said in Thai: mai kao jai laew. I was trying to say "i didn't understand" so I just added the "laew" at the end. She tried to explain that i was incorrect, but was having a hard time. Luckily for us, there is this forum So, can someone tell me how to say "i didn't understand" and why I am saying it the way you show me? Khob khun mak mak! Bobby
