Hong Kong for New Year

Does anyone know what's going on in Hong Kong for New Years eve?

Any suggestions? Good places or parties to attend??

Your best bet is to sign up there....i lived in HK last year and used that forum to find out what was happening socially.

It is because the city's streets are so badly congested on New years eve, I need to avoid tons of people.

I prefer stay home and spend quiet night or talk and laugh over a good red wine with close friends.

But if you want, you can experience really crowd of pushing people. Go to Times Square in Causeway Bay. around the clock tower in Tsim Sha Tsui or Lan Kwai Fong. It would be fun for tourists.

Although road traffic is rerouted before and during the count down, you must be there earlier.

Lockhart Street in Wan Chai will be buzzing i'm sure.

There's a good hotel which is reasonably priced with in walking distance- Cosmo Hotel.

Lockhart Road.....yes it will be buzzing, the same as every other night of the year
