So its like sliding downhill on a tea tray.

There doesnt seem much difference between the skeleton and the toboggan it seems.

with the TV coverage in the States...

the figure skating is a bore --- too much coverage

too much of a good thing = boring

It's beautiful, hard , requires stenghth ;

But it is Judged subjectively with phoney glitz and drama

It is an Artistic performance :!:

That being said they give terrific performances;

and would be amazing to see in person...

If figure skating is a sport...

The Summer games should have compeditive Ballet---

and those are some of the best athletes I have ever seen!

But Ballet is a performance Art not a sport....

Though I say it's boring, I watch it Danno. Finished watching Biathlon an hour ago. The German won again. I say Curling is boring but I watch it also. I even posted about curling last year.

right...with so much coverage the figure skating is boring

...now curling is so quirkie its cool... for a few hours...but not much longer

...the airial skiing seems a little silly....

nordic combined was covered (live) in a very interesting way; skating and downhill skiing are great

I actually find curling fascinating........but in saying that I don't mind watching lawn bowls

Not sure about boring but I think Curling is the funniest sport ever. I couldnt stop laughing when I watched.

In fact Curling can be fun(ny) to watch, after few drinks. (but again, anything can be funny after few drinks).
