So I've got to book a flight, actually, another after cancelling the one I just booked on www.lastminute.com (which they were all very nice about shockingly though I do have to wait 8-18 weeks for a refund.)

If anyone knows any good deals would they mind posting them on here please...

Currently I'm looking for Bangkok - London Return, posh class if possible...

This site will allow you to check multiple sites at once. I check 6 or 7 at a time and compare. You start to know the airline schedules.

I use www.bookingbuddy.co.uk a lot and can usually find a decent price for flights to UK, although sometimes www.bookingbuddy.com offers some different options.

Both sites allow you to use several search engines so you can compare prices.......

I always fly EVA Air business as its non stop, and you can find good deals.

I just paid 1362 plus taxes LHR-BKK-LHR

My travel agent told me that they are cancelling some flights, so they may be rationalising due to the troubles in BKK scaring away the tourists. if that happens the fares will rise.

Might be worth trying a local travel agent too.

I can get really cheap business returns with most airlines from London but not to London, its frustrating as ****.... and I don't understand how that works.

Eva seats don't agree with me for some reason!

Alternatively you could try Air Asia X from KL.

They do a cheap "business class" seat to Stansted. Apparently real cheap if you book far enough in advance. My mate and his wife use it, but never tried it myself.

I got a cheap Thai Air ticket recently, by as funky-house recommended, ebookers.com.

Get em while there hot as Thai Air have dropped there prices since those dicks started protesting.....get in!

www.skyscanner.net is a decent site which I used to get me around Europe back in 06.

Also love using either Expedia site in USA or Aus for great deals on both flights and hotels.

I use edreams.com for a lot of euro and latin america flights. Changing by a day or two can often throw up some crazy prices.

If you can slum it on TG they have a special for fixed dates for 17K plus 10K taxes;

If you don't mind a stopover in India, Jet Airways usually has pretty good fares. Another is Royal Jordanian, but you have to stopover in Amman.

IN the last 4 years since they started the Special Flight offers I have never seen a Nth American destination on that specials page. Europe, Asia and OZ but never the US.

Try the edreams site and see what that throws at you.

For fun i went into a local travel office: I paid 26.000 Baht for a

return ticket with etihad.

No internet offer had that good price.
